Who can apply for a FDW ?
Only Singaporean citizens or permanent residents can apply to hire a foreign domestic worker (FDW) to work in their household. They must also meet the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Manpower, such as having a minimum income and providing suitable accommodation for the FDW.
What is the current Maid levy?
1st foreign domestic helper $300 per month
Subsequent Helpers $450 per month
For $60 per month
The senior is eligible for the concessionary levy rate of $60 per month if the senior wishes to hire a migrant domestic worker (MDW). The applicant can also qualify if the applicant is hiring a MDW to care for a child, elderly person, or person with disability living at the same registered address as you.
What are the monthly salary range for Indonesian and Myanmar FDWs?
Indonesia : basic $550 – $700
Myanmar : basic $480 – $650
What happens if the FDW I employ from Oscar Maids does not match up to my expectations?
Call us to change or extra training
How many replacements am I entitled to and what are the penalties?
3 replacements, there are no penalties, but there will be processing charges.
